Mind power

What is your mind truly capable of?

When people attend one of my performances, they witness a lot of effects that appear to be mind reading, predicitions and even moving objects with your mind.

However what can you really do with your mind?

Your mind is capable of far more than you could possibly imagine. Maybe not at the level of reading minds or bending metal with your thoughts, but certainly far more than you would have thought or believed to be possible.

Take memory, for example.

So many people struggle to remember even basic things like names and just say they haven't got a good memory.

The reality is that anyone can traing themselves to remember better. You just need to know the technique for how to remember and recall information and also need to practice.

I used to tell myself that I couldn't remember names and I'd meet people and instantly forget their name. In fact I was so convinced I wouldn't remember their name, I probably didn't even pay attention to their name in the first place!

Then I learned about techniques to improve your memory and started to put them into practice. Now I sometimes run workshops for 20 or 30 people and when I put the technique into practice I can remember 30 names that I've only heard once almost instantly.

If I can do it, anyone can!

The same principle goes for lists of items. Like shopping lists.

Have you ever been down to the shops to get something and you end up getting lots of things you hadn't planned on getting but forgot the thing you did want?

I used to do that all the time.

Then I started to put into practice a memory system I had heard about. Now I connect the items in my shopping list to different images and when I'm at the shops the pictures pop back into my mind.

So even though you might not be able to recreate all the things you see in one of my mentalism shows, you really can achieve amazing things with your mind!
